The main Objectives of the RMO are:

• To facilitate and ensure effective governance and co-operation between all the organisations and mansions that make up the Ras Tafari nation in Jamaica, as well as worldwide. 
• To secure, protect and manage the intellectual property of the Ras Tafari community , for the benefit of the Ras Tafari community. 
• To advocate and negotiate with appropriate bodies in order to further the interests of the Ras Tafari community.
